Iran Wants to Transfer Its Enriched Uranium to China

Al Arabiya, citing informed sources, reported that Iran has agreed to transfer its enriched uranium to China in order to keep the materials out of US access.

According to the sources, Tehran wants to obtain necessary guarantees from China before reaching a final agreement with Washington.

The report also states that Pakistan’s Army Chief, , may also travel to Doha.

Meanwhile, alongside diplomatic efforts to end the war in Iran, Chinese state media reported that Chinese President met with Pakistani Prime Minister in Beijing.

China’s official news agency, Xinhua, stated that the meeting took place after Shehbaz Sharif held talks earlier the same day with Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang.

Sources also told Al Arabiya that Asim Munir attended the meeting between Shehbaz Sharif and the Chinese Prime Minister, and that Islamabad insists Beijing should act as a guarantor in any potential agreement between Iran and the United States.

Pakistani television, quoting the same sources, also reported that Asim Munir — described as a key negotiator in the talks between the US and Iran — traveled to China alongside Shehbaz Sharif to meet with Chinese diplomats.
