Afghan billionaire and national businessman Mirwais Azizi says that after the collapse of the previous government, Afghanistan’s banking system was managed by the Taliban in a way that surprised international financial experts.
In a recent interview with the new media outlet Mithaq, he said that practical steps were taken to ensure the continuity and stability of the banking system, keeping banks operational.
Azizi added that despite difficult circumstances, efforts in managing financial institutions helped prevent the banking system from a complete collapse.
