A new radio station “Sah” begins broadcasting in Khost

A new radio station named Sah has officially started broadcasting in Afghanistan’s eastern Khost province on the 94.7 FM frequency.

Officials of the station say that Sah Radio will operate 18 hours a day from now on, offering a variety of programs on a daily basis.

According to available information, this is the fifth private radio station to begin broadcasting in Khost since the return of the Taliban to power.

Meanwhile, some officials of existing radio stations in the province report worsening financial conditions. They warn that if the current situation continues, they may be forced to shut down their operations due to economic pressures.
