The Taliban government’s Ministry of Interior stated that last night, Pakistani military aircraft carried out an airstrike on a drug rehabilitation center in Kabul, resulting in approximately 408 deaths and 265 injuries.
The ministry described the attack as “brutal and against all human and Islamic principles” and strongly condemned it. It also called on international organizations, Muslim countries, and human rights bodies to investigate the incident and hold those responsible accountable.
According to the ministry, the center, which housed thousands of patients undergoing treatment, was completely destroyed. The Taliban government has requested international assistance for the treatment of the injured and continued efforts to combat drugs.
