Taliban government spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid says that the Pakistani military once again carried out airstrikes on Afghanistan’s Kandahar, Paktia and Khost provinces last night, killing four civilians.
In a statement, Mujahid condemned the attacks and said that they constitute a clear violation and crime against all principles.
The Taliban government spokesperson stressed that an appropriate response will be given with a decisive stance against the Pakistani military’s violations and aggression.
He added that Pakistani military officials had claimed a day earlier, in an attempt to justify the attacks, that drones had crossed into Pakistan from Afghanistan.
Mujahid rejected the claim and said that the airstrikes on Afghan territory may have been carried out to justify Pakistan’s internal problems.
He warned that, according to him, the Pakistani military’s reckless and hostile actions are provoking the anger of the Afghan people and could have adverse consequences for Pakistani military officials.
