The European Union has condemned the casualties among civilians caused by airstrikes by the Pakistani military regime on Kunar and Helmand provinces and called on Afghanistan and Pakistan to exercise restraint and resolve their differences through dialogue.
The European Union said in a statement that all sides must respect international laws, particularly international humanitarian law, and take necessary measures to protect civilians and civilian facilities.
According to the Taliban government, nine people, including women and children, were martyred in the attacks, while 11 others were injured.
UNAMA, meanwhile, said yesterday that at least 10 civilians were martyred and nine others were injured in the attacks, most of whom were children.
