Hamid Karzai Condemns Pakistan’s Airstrikes

Former Afghan President has strongly condemned Pakistan’s airstrikes on Afghan territory and the killing of children and women in the provinces of Kunar, Khost, and Paktika.

Karzai expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and stated that Pakistan is facing the consequences of its misguided policies and hostile actions in the region.

He added that Islamabad should understand that the continuation of such policies will not lead to its desired objectives. According to Karzai, it is in Pakistan’s best interest to abandon its policy of war and destruction toward Afghanistan and instead pursue good-neighborly relations, peaceful coexistence, and constructive civil ties.

The former president emphasized that targeting civilians, especially women and children, is unacceptable and must be stopped.
