Widespread Military Crimes by Pakistani Forces: 761 Afghans Killed This Year

Hamdullah Fetrat, Deputy Spokesperson of the Taliban government, stated on his X page that from February 22 to April 4, 2026, the Pakistani military carried out extensive military operations across several regions of Afghanistan, causing significant civilian casualties.

According to information provided by the Taliban, 761 people were killed, 626 were injured, 14,973 missiles were fired, and 27,407 families were displaced. Additionally, 661 livestock were killed, 42 vehicles destroyed, 3 clinics, 13 religious schools, 13 general schools, 34 mosques, and 256 shops were completely destroyed.

The provinces targeted in these attacks included Kandahar, Nangarhar, Khost, Paktika, Kabul, Laghman, and Nuristan.

Human rights activists have condemned these actions as clear war crimes against civilians and called on the international community to take serious action.
