The Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced that, according to the schedule of its domestic cricket department, the 9th round of List A one-day zonal matches has officially started in Nangarhar.
According to the Afghanistan Cricket Board, the List A one-day matches began today in Nangarhar Province with the participation of five teams, and the opening ceremony was held at the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Cricket Stadium.
As per the schedule, all participating teams will play a total of six matches against each other. After the completion of the league stage, the top two teams will qualify for the final, which is scheduled for June 4.
Officials of the Afghanistan Cricket Board stated that such competitions play an important role in strengthening domestic cricket, discovering new talent, and preparing players for future opportunities in the national team.
