Officials of the station say that the radio can be heard in almost all districts of Paktia province.
The director of the station, Said Anwer Sangin, said that Jirga Radio will air around forty different programs in both Pashto and Dari national languages, which they believe will be effective and beneficial for society.
This comes at a time when many local media outlets and journalists in the country are facing economic difficulties and various other challenges, which have affected the quality of media activities.
