Faizli calls Kallas’s remarks “double standards” and “hypocrisy”

Former head of the Administrative Office of the previous republican government, Fazal Mahmood Faizli, has reacted to recent remarks by the European Union’s foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas.

He said that during her visit to Pakistan, Kallas referred to Pakistan’s “right to self-defense” in relation to the bombardments in Afghanistan, a position he says is similar to her previous statements in which she also acknowledged Israel’s right to self-defense.

Faizli questioned: “Does she want Afghanistan to become a second Gaza?”

He described these remarks as an example of double standards and hypocrisy, while also claiming that Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other militant groups were created or supported by Pakistan’s security institutions.
