Afghanistan Cricket Board to Launch Franchise Sale for Second Season of APL

Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced that it will begin the franchise sale process for the second season of the Afghanistan Premier League (APL).

According to the board, applications for purchasing the five franchises will open on May 15 and remain available until June 30.

Afghan and international investors and businesspeople are expected to participate in the bidding process to secure ownership rights of the league’s five teams.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board said the initiative aims to ensure the successful and professional organization of the second edition of the Afghanistan Premier League and to further promote domestic cricket in the country.
