Donald Trump announced that under his leadership, members of the Board of Peace have pledged more than $5 billion in humanitarian and reconstruction aid for the people of Gaza.
He made the announcement on Sunday via his social media platform, Truth Social. According to Trump, the funds will be formally announced during a special meeting on February 19, 2026, at the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C.
Trump stated that the countries participating in the Board of Peace will not only provide financial aid but will also deploy thousands of personnel through the International Stabilization Force and local security forces to ensure the safety and stability of the people in Gaza. He emphasized that Hamas must fulfill its commitment and immediately disarm.
He also said that last year he presented a plan to permanently end the conflict in Gaza, which was subsequently unanimously approved by the United Nations Security Council. According to Trump, through this process, humanitarian aid was delivered at unprecedented speed, and all living and deceased hostages were released.
Trump added that the Board of Peace’s founding members recently gathered in Davos, Switzerland, to discuss the future of Gaza’s civilians, ways to improve their living conditions, and the broader vision for global peace.
