105 Afghans Released from Pakistani Prisons, Repatriated via Spin Boldak

The Taliban consulate in Karachi announced on Monday that around 105 Afghan nationals have been released from Pakistani prisons and repatriated to Afghanistan via the Spin Boldak crossing.

In a statement, the consulate said the released individuals include two women and 10 children, who were transferred from detention centers through the Chaman–Spin Boldak border crossing.

According to the statement, the detainees had been held for nearly a month due to security concerns along routes in Sindh and Balochistan before being returned to their home country.

The development comes as the Pakistani government has accelerated the process of returning Afghan migrants, with large numbers of undocumented Afghans reportedly detained and imprisoned across the country.
